Hyperlinks in Access 2003

I am using hyperlinks on a form to connect to documents (.pdf) on a network. I can not get the links to work, I do know the links are good. Is this a problem with Microsoft security and is there a way around it.

Any help would be very much appreciated

What sort of problem are you getting? Not being recognised as a link, folder/doc not found, etc?

I is being recognized as a link and it will pull up on occasion the Adobe reader but not the file it self. It will pull up and display Word document. I know the links are good "I have cut and paste them into the address bar and they go to the file with no problem".
