I am having a problem and wanted to see how or everyone else is dealing with it. I have a My IP Office up to date in the 4. release and I have the call recordings that to to contactstore setup to at the huntgroup level. What i haver problems with is when a call comes in via the Huntgroup and then my user transfers it externally it is continuing to record the call. I talked with a ACE(avaya certified engineer) and said since it is not going to a user that is not in that huntgroup that it is not being triggered to stop the recording. I am dumb founded because i think i have some legel issues with recording other companies calls(the ones we send them to). Anyone have any ideas this may cause me to have to stop using the recording all together.

It shouldn't reaaly, according to the Docs "Hunt group recording stops if the call is transferred to another user who is not a member of the hunt group." I would say two external callers are classed as not members of that group. Also it's "Avaya Certified Expert" wouldn't want people getting offended :)

The ACE said like what you sent that since it is not a USER that is is not triggered to stop? Does anyone have contactstore running and are transfering it externally?

If you went up to release 5 you could try ticking the "drop impromtu external only conference" box (or whatever it's called) it may work, possibly not but worth a shot just to test then you could easily go back to 4 if it didn't work :)
