Hunt Group to include remote extension ?

Hi everyone,

How can I include extensions in remote office in main office hunt group. The T1 circuit is at main office.

When people dial public number at main office, I want some people in main office and some people in remote office can hear that.

Main Office : 24xx
Remote : 21xx
Hunt Group: 2499 (2401,2402,2101,2102)

I tried to add remote extension in hunt group, but it only displays local extensions.

Can someone teach me how to accomplish this ?

From the docs:

· Forward Hunt Group Calls: Default = Off
Hunt group calls (internal and external) are not normally presented to a user who has forward unconditional active. Instead they are presented to the next available member of the hunt group. This option, when checked, sets that hunt group calls (internal and external) are also forwarded when forward unconditional is active. The group's Ring Type must be Sequential or Rotary, not Collective or Longest Waiting. The call is forwarded for the period defined by the hunt group's No Answer Time after which it returns to the hunt group if unanswered. Note also that hunt group calls cannot be forwarded to another hunt group.

I'm not doubting you I just thought I had used it, makes sense really as the IP opffice can't determine if the call was actually answered and so would not reset the idle time for that user :)

I am getting like Avaya, i don't test it as it is documented that it should not work :)

Also be aware that if you run reports on your calls then forwarding extensions to remote IPO's can really, really make a mess of the stats.
 
thank you. I am not running reports on calls yet.

Company does not have budget for this yet.
