I'm trying to setup a hunt group were agents don't have to login, and the call is able to ring to three other phones. I have phones that I want this to ring on. When I receive an incoming call I can answer it on one line but when a second call comes in it does not ring any other phone. Could you please advise on what I'm doing wrong or a better way to accomplish this.

Thanks so much for your help.

You can make the hunt group an AAS hunt group. It's usually done for things like VRU's and voicemail machines which you would not want to have to login manually.

On page two of the hunt group form, change AAS n to y, and list the stations that you want to be members of the group in the rest of the form.

HI
Did you try UCD group type on the first page of hunt group?
Looks like all of your calls are routed by DDC algorithm (first point is "hot" point).

I don't see an AAS option on page two of the hunt page.

What other settings will need to be changed if any?

Thanks again for your help.

Do you have ACD in your system? And if so, did you setup the hunt group as ACD yes on page one? The AAS field won't be there if neither are true.

If you don't have ACD, and you only need three phones to ring, try setting up a Terminating Extension Group.

use the command 'add term next'

Put in a group extension (this would be the lead phone number you would want to ring all phones) and then add the phones to the group.

When someone calls the group number, all phones in the group will ring simultaneously. First person to pick up wins the call.

Terminating extension groups can have their own coverage paths, and their own voicemail. Message waiting lamps on the phones of people concerned about the calls to the terminating extension group would also be a good idea if you send the calls to voicemail.

I tried the term ext, but when the line is answered they could not receive anymore calls to that number while on the phone.....What I need is for calls to appear on three phones and when someone answers the call. they will have the ability to still get calls to that same number.....I just have BCMS.....I hope that this helps.

It sounds like what you want is an ACD group. You just need to setup your hunt group as ACD 'y', and it appears that you didn't do that.

You might also look up 'coverage answer groups'. These will allow multiple calls to connect, however, when members of the group press 'send all calls' they remove themselves from the group, and calls won't ring at their desks.

If you're trying to force calls to a particular destination, then coverage answer groups may not work for you.

Wealthmaker,
As I understand, you don't need simultaneous calls on all of your phones but you need a possibility to pick up next call, is it?
If so, you just need some tuning of the hunt group to force it work. Please, show here your hunt group form pages 1,2,3 and how you dialed to the group (hunt group extension, vdn, did number)? It must be working easy.
