don't know if you seem this issue
we have a report file that filled with Excel tables (by using Excel's paste as a picture feature) the document itself is not huge about 65 pages and with about 20 some tables from Excel pasted in this Word document, the size of the file is about 22MB
but it takes about 5-6 minutes to save the file locally on the computer and 20 mintue when trying to save to a remote server !!
and we even did some test, deleting all the tables and any other fancy footer/header in that Word doc, guess what, the
file grew bigger to 24MB and it gets bigger every time it gets save, we delete everything in that file even to a point when we have only a blank page being saved !!!!
does anyone know what happen ??
