Can't access any https websites using IE or msn progs etc..
However I can access https with other browsers, such as firefox.
I have tried the secure settings in IE and various other soulutions posted here and on the net.
When you have IE open, go to "Help -> About Internet Explorer". Report to us the exact version number and the cipher strength.
Cipher strength needs to be at 128-bit and you should make sure you've gone out to the Windows Update site to make sure you have all the latest updates. At the moment, I wouldn't suggest you install IE 6 yet, so remove it from your critical install list before you install any updates.
* Note: Some of MS's source code has been leaked around on the net in recent weeks. All sorts of IE 5.x vulnerabilities are being discovered. It is highly recommended that you upgrade to IE 6 in the near future. However, understand that IE 6 has been known to cause trouble in older OS's like Win98 or WinME.

Definitely make sure that the first thing you check is your PC's date and time.
