Hello,
Here is a piece from an article I am trying to get a better understanding of
from
Page requests are always serviced on the same thread, and a distinct instance of the Page class is always created to service any new requests. Distinct instances of application and module objects are also used to service each request
is this saying that when a user hits your site he gets a new page for every request but stays on the same thread? The way the quote is started is confusing me.
Also further in the article it states that the
so by default, up to 25 requests per worker process can be processed concurrently
does this mean that the aspnet_wp.exe can handle 25 requests per AppDomain?
I am not formulating my question very well. I'm trying to find out how to determine how many users can hit a web site concurrently.
Thank you,
Marty

Any conjecture about the two questions?

Christiaan Baes,
Please bust my chops or something, thats better than no reply at all.

Oops, I saw your post to late. I only look at the posts that seem interesting to me. And I don't frequent this forum very much since C# is only for wanabee programmers.
And isn't that a question for the asp.net forum.
And you probably know the answer.
And I want a star for that, just to get my name back on that list for a couple of weeks.

Glad to be of sevice.
