Hi hope someone can help I've set up a form on my site I,ve put formmail.pl in the cgi-bin and set the chmod to 755 but when I click on submit I get HTTP 500 Internal Server error what area of the code would be causing this error?
Also I am having problems with my image swap buttons even though I have used the behavier inspector the mouse icon does not turn to a hand? The rough site can be found at the form is on the competion page.
Thanks in advance

Dear andy
that would mean that you have a error in the script that you are running just changing the mode of the file by chmod 755 will not help try telneting the server and then running it directly by telnet it will tell you where the error is

the javascript problem can be solved too

go to the following url there is a script in the head use it. Its a good script

regards
:)

Hi Andy
if the machine u r using is a windows one then in the start menu at the run command option use the command call as telnet

usage
Code:
telnet 192.168.10.1
(pls replase it with the server's ip)

then it will ask u for the username and the password of the account
of that server then
(please remember that the telnet gives u uniz command promt)
change the directory in which the cgi is present and use the ./name of the script .pl/cgi (as per the extention of the script)

when it executes and if there is a error then it will show u where it lies

what language is the cgi written in perl/c ?
;-)
