This morning I started work on my cf code and suddenly I started getting HTTP 500 - Page cannot be displayed in IE error. I can't see any Cfdump errors or cfabort errors when I submit a cfpage. Even if I just put <cfdump var="Show error"> I get a HTTP 500 error.

And this happend all of a sudden, I know its some IE setting that I am missing. I even RESET the IE to default settings. Does any one know whats going on.??

I've seen this sometime when there's a problem in the code. I'm not sure what causes it, but instead of a CF error you just get a 'page cannot be displayed'. I always have to undo what I've done until I get a working page, then move forward and refresh and it will start showing the error.

Hope This Helps!

http 500 error is what your browser will show when a "server error has occured" go into your browser settings and disable "friendly error messages" You should start to see the real CF error again.
