Hello All

Have a small problem with a IP500v2 on 6.1(5)

After a random time period after power on, eg to long to sit and wait for it to fail.

The http server on the ip office stops responding to requests.

This stops phones 16xx on site from registering. They have a tendency of unplugging and moving the phones.
Stops the embedded file manager from functioning.
Stops the soft phone from functioning.
Stops the ability to load system status from the IP Office.
Stops by the looks of it 1x from working. Basically anything that depends on the http server in the ip office stops working.

Only way I have found to get it working again is to restart the IP500v2
This is painful as there is a 6x BM32 modules on site that have to be manually restarted, because of another bug, on every reboot.

Has anyone ease experienced this before?

Any suggestions?

192.168.5.5 Is a 1608 Phone trying to download its setting from the IP500v2.
The IP500v2 is on the same local network. No firewalls. Avaya Http Clients only in Unticked.

The SD card is unavailable.
Stop it and start it from manager or SSA.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I have a funny feeling I tried shutting down and restarting the SD card via manager. Will give it a try the next time it happens.

Are people still experiencing problems with the SD cards?

CQ46341 IP500v2 on 6.1.5 - Cannot service HTTP Requests - 503 Service Unavailable
Fixed in FT 6.1.12 release end of Q1

Out of curiosity, in system status are you receiving a service alarm:

Attempt to use a feature for which no license is installed. License Type: VCM Channel Migration

I have been troubleshooting this issue for quite a while now, as I am having the same issues. I found a work around for the phones by using Avaya's My_IPTel_setup2.0.2 which acts as its own HTTP server, tftp etc. However you can't change the DSML provider as it needs HTTP communication with the SD to synchronize the directories.

Also, the IP Office database superceeds and overwrites the OneX database, so if you add a contact in OneX while the service is down and reboot the IPO, any entries made in OneX are cleared, regardless of a backup.

Now, I find it strange that I need VCM's since I thought I had plenty, but it would appear that the HTTP service completely fails after this error is generated. I am still not sure if all of my VCMs are actually being consumed, I still find that extremely hard to believe. But its apparently happening and causing the HTTP service to fail. Bigger problem being that once the VCM's clear, it does not restore the service at all until a reboot.

This is the first time I have heard that you can restart the SD from system status... so I may try that too.

intrigrant I am extremely curious on how you found that information. Can you provide a link?

element4749, stop searching.
It is a fake error in SSA so there is no need to worry.

Thanks,

So is this a confirmed bug or what? seems like intrigrant may have found something?

That is adifferent issue.
