Please validate this for me:

Is the following setting below (buried deep in Outlook)enough to prevent Spammers from getting a "live email" validation from my machine. Or is it wishful thinking.

"When an HTML message contains &pictures located on the Internet, send a copy of the pictures instead of the reference to their location"

If it is wishful thinking than how do I turn off HTML all together using Outlook?

Outlook Express:
I found a "read messages in plain text" setting for Outlook Express - is that enough to prevent email-validation for spammers?

This is in regards to you sending messages that contain pictures to someone else. I think Outlook 2003 was the first version that had a setting to turn off HTML reading.

Yes, this should work.

Thanks for the answers...

I know how to turn off HTML reading in Outlook Express but NOT in Outlook. Do you know where I can turn it off (HTML reading) in Outlook?

Tx in Advance
