OKay, You may laugh at me, but I am new to Apache, please help me out.

I am running Webmin on Redhat 7.1 from a dedicated server. So I have total control over the whole system here. However, I don't know how to configure user permission or something else, that when I upload a .htaccess to my server throught WS_FTP, It says file uploaded successfuly, but then I don't see it in that folder

So where is my .htaccess? What do I need to do? Please help

Are you trying to access the .htaccess from the web? Apache is configured to disallow that action.

Otherwise it sounds like a WS_FTP issue.

Your ftp server may have restrict viewing of dotfiles.

This doesn't seem to have anything to do with apache :(

Try uplaoding any file that starts with a '.' and it will probably disappear as well.
