HP scanning into 8i DB using activex

I'm having trouble using the kodak imgedit control to save images via a HP scanjet3570C scanner. The files I save are not of the correct .BMP/.JPG/.TIFF format to be read using the READ_IMAGE_FILE built-in. Any suggestions, I have tried 're-opening' the saved file to re-save it, but to no avail.

I think you have tolook on scanner software , becuase oracle have nothing to do the file saving format . i used with scanner Hpjeg5100
and it work fine .
