Hello

I've got a friend whose laptop keyboard has the w, e, r and u, i, o keys usually non-functional. Sometimes they work, usually not. The symmetry of the keys strikes me as unusual.

Are there any known issues with this? What are some things she can do to try to remedy it? I've never really played with laptop keyboards before and I'm not interested in taking mine apart to experiment :)

She and I thank you for any help.

Gary

The KB may be defective.
You should be able to replace it, but you'll need an instruction manual to tell you how to remove the old one.
If you do not have one, then you may be able to find an online manual if you do a Google search with the make and model.
