HP 1200 LazerJet Printing Problem

I have a clipper program runing on a network and most of the printers work just fine. The problem is on some machines that use the HP 1200 we I send a page to the printer, the printer prints part of the page, ejects then prints the first line all the way to the left and then prints the rest just fine.

The print job is only a one page document and the printer prints 3/4 of the page then ejects it.

Is there a printer setting that I'm missing?

Is your default paper size correct. HP often sets its default to American legal not A4.

Can also be a connection (cable) problem, where you have a (special) character in yoyr uotput that gets mingled to be understood by the printer as a formfeed.
