No one does it. VPN on the IPO sucks.

the VPN phone like the 9600 series has built in IPSEC vpn client in which you can configure it to connect to the VPN router where the IP office is residing, it registers the same way as regular IP Phone does, however depending on the version of IP Office, you will need some license like teleworker, power user etc.
