I have settings on main domain(Windows 2000 server) to enforce users to change password every 60 days.

As administator, I need to provide step by step instruction to users so that they can follow the steps and get their password changed.

I would like to have the instruction with some graphics.
If you know where I can find it, please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

As the admin, you should force a user password change, then document all the steps you have to take.

Thanks.

I am looking for the instruction for users, not for myself. What kind of screens that user will get when its the time to change password?

Some screen shots will help me to develope the instruction for users. But I don't know where to get those screen shots. Help!!!!!

Easy. Start off by opening Word or Wordpad. On your PC click Ctrl + Alt + Del. Press Alt + Print Screen. Go back to Wordpad. Click the document and press Ctrl + V.

Repeat these steps, walkiing through and documenting the steps to change your own password.

Basic steps are:
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del.
Click Change Password
Enter old password
Enter New password twice
Click OK
Done

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

Thanks Mark. It is very helpful.

Well, you're a user, so the steps you have to go through to change your password are exactly the same steps a user would have to go through to change their password. Force your password to expire, then document what you have to do to change it, and provide that info to your users.

Sometimes we can't see the forest through the trees.
