I was in the middle of receiving a .mov through Yahoo Messenger when the other person's connection dropped and now I am unable to view what I have received. I got about half of the file but I cannot view any of it as I just get the standard error "it is not a file that QuickTime understands."
So far I've tried opening it with QuickTime (obviously), RealPlayer 10, Windows Media Player 10, and Windows Media Player Classic. I also tried opening it in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 to see if maybe I could view it there...no good. I also downloaded a program called "QuickTime Alternative," which looks to be a WMP Classic plug-in, and, of course, it does not play it either.
I know there has to be a way to do it, I just don't know which direction to head with it. Please share any knowledge you have on this. Thanks in advance.
