how to upgrade r11.1 2

I want to upgrade Arcserve r11.1 (build 3200). How do i do it?

Upgrade from 11.1 is not supported.

Too big of a difference between 11.1 and 11.5 in the database. Since 11.1 was at end of life the work was done to upgrade 11.5 installs only.

If you really don't want to do a new install of 12.x then the only option would be to get a copy of 11.5 (keycode not needed, just install it as a live trial) and do the 11.1 to 11.5 upgrade. Then you could go with 11.5 to 12.0 or 12.5 upgrade.

11.5 SP4 is full product and can be used for this.

But my advice is to do a clean install rather than upgrade.

I upgraded from 11.1 to 12 without a problem. I checked the documentation before upgrading and made sure this was an available option. The upgrade went without a hitch. The database was converted, all job logs were imported, and the whole process was over in less than 40 minutes (on a dual core server with 2GB RAM)
