how to upgrade from sup1a

I have a cisco 6506 switch with sup1a and MSFC2 running haybrid os. I would like to upgarde it to sup720 with native ios and wondering if there is a doc or a link that i can follow to accomplish this. My cat ver is 7.6(10) and the MSFC2 is 12.1(13)E17.

Copy the config to a tftp server, and replace the modules. But you must convert the CatOS config to IOS...Vipergg I believe posted a link before in this forum about converting a CatOS config to IOS...maybe he'll come in...

I think you have to upgrade the fan trays and possibly the power supplies in order to do this . To do the actual conversion follow this.
