Hello,

I have a question. I am making a program in excel 2000. My tables are in access 2000. I can read my records in excel (userform) but when I try to write in my recordset, I get the error that my database or object is read-only.

Can somebody help me please?

Regards,

Are you using an ODBC connection for your database? There is a setting in the ODBC to set as read only.

Go to Control Panel and have a look at the ODBC settings

I found the solution. I had to work with a sql statement update .... set ...

Suddenly, my program worked.

Greetz!
