I have Win2K Pro PCs running with the latest service packs. These PCs are also running Office 97 Pro with SR2B. To my understanding Access 97 uses MS Jet 3.5 with the latest service pack.

My student updated all Win2K PCs with the latest service packs including MS Jet 4.0. Since then I am getting database problems with Access 97 (shared database on NT Server 4.0, with Win2K PCs as clients).

I looked under Add/Remove Programs on each Win2K client, and MS JET 4.0 us not listed. How can I tell if MS Jet 4.0 is installed on each Win2K PC and uninstall it, so I can install MS Jet 3.5SP3?

Don't know if this will help, but there is information in MS Access Help "Jet Database Engine" then "Customise Microsoft Jet Version 3.5 .......". Gives file names and Registry settings. Regards

Found a TID indicating how to uninstall Jet 4.0. Under add/remove programs its called PRE SP3 Q282010. It wasn't on any of my machines because I installed SP3 and other patches.
