I am running win2k server on my network. How do I safely uninstall windows updates for a particular day? I know i can search add/remove programs, but i am unsure of the names of the updates I want to undo, however I do know the date.

I would rather not experiment and risk down time so if anybody has done this before and can advise me I would really appreciate it.

When I don't know the KB# I need, I usually just check the dates on the source files at C:\%WINDIR%

Look at the hidden folders with names such as $NtUninstallKB885836$

(yay! shameless advertising. my side business)

You can check your update history from Windows update. Perhaps from there you can match up the date of the download with the KB number of the update.
