I have Office XP and want to insert a picture and then type text opposite this.

As it stands, I can insert and display a picture, change the format to Landscape, but I can only type text from the bottom right hand corner of the picture and then on.

How do I get around this?

Thanks

If you right click on the picture and select format, there is an option called layout that lets you set up the relationship between the picture and text. In other words, it lets you set whether the text wraps around the pictue, goes through it, etc.

If you set up the correct relation, you should be able to do what you want.

Thats perfect - thanks a lot

Thanks hneal98- didn't know that. I had always gotten around the problem by putting text in a frame next to the object.
