Hi I need to change the routing tables in my Definity G3.V9.

All of our local toll calls were going over our long distance lines and I need to change them so they go over our local carrier lines.

My Local carrier sent me their Routing table that I need to change in my switch. It looks something like this.

APTOS ZONE USAGE MEASUREMENT REPORT (ZUM + TOLL) 03/07/02

ZONE1 ZONE2 ZONE3 TOLL

DIST DIST DIST DIST
NPA NXX AREA NPA NXX AREA NPA NXX AREA NPA NXX AREA
--- --- ---- --- --- ---- --- --- ---- --- --- ----
619 123 LAJL 760 206 SNMC 619 904 LVTA 619 456 SNDG
760 789 ENCT 760 145 CRLS 619 321 POWY

How do I change the routing pattern in my switch so all of my local toll calls are being sent over my local carrier lines? Do I just change the route patterns or do I have to change the ARS Toll Tables? Also from the table that was sent to me, do I actually have to enter any data or change the routing around?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You'll have to change the route pattern on each number to go over your local carrier's lines. Just do a ch ars ana followed by the area code you want to change, then change the route pattern to your lec's trunk group and the call type to hpna.

Do your local toll calls going out by dialing a one before the area code, if so thats the ARS number you need to change. 1619, 1760 Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!
