I remember circa win95 or win3.1, opening two or more windows then hitting [Ctrl something] to get all the windows tiled and of equal size on the desktop.

My cranial registry has a faulty entry and I can't remember how this was done.

My question is, can I do this in W2k?

From the Windows Help File - Under (drum roll please) "Tiling Windows"

To arrange all open windows

Right-click an empty area on the taskbar.
Click Cascade Windows, Tile Windows Horizontally, or Tile Windows Vertically.

=== Notes ===

Windows reduced to taskbar buttons will not be displayed.
To restore your windows to their previous state, right-click an empty area on the taskbar, and then click Undo Cascade or Undo Tile.
Please let me know if the suggestion(s) I provide are helpful to you.

Yep That's it...you must be a propellar-head but I'll donate one star anyway!!

Can you imagine that, looking in the "Windows Help file for help".. who'd a thunk it.

Thanks again
