Hi All
I have an S8500 Avaya Media Server and I have two announcements boards, TN750 and TN2501 (VAL-ANNOUNCEMENT), The most of the announcements work fine, but I don't know why I can't hear some announcements, the records weren't deleted from the board, but when I dial the announcement extension, I just can't hear the message, I'm afraid that other messages could disappear, so I would like to know if, first, there is a way to know if is something wrong with my boards and second, If there is a way to backup my announcements because I'm pretty sure that the messages weren't deleted buy I just suddenly can't hear it anymore.

Any Suggestion?

Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance

Using VAL Manager you can back the TN2501. There is no way to backup the TN750 board.

If you have a TN750C you can back up the card to flash memory.

I'm assuming you have an older system and not G650 Gateways.

I's recommend you migrate any announcements from the 750 onto the VAL and stop using 750 boards.
