HI,

Due to virus attach the SQL SERVER 2005 management console is not working as are other services such as task bar or any other executable .exe program are not working.

Is there any command promt to take SQL server Database backup.

Please Help it is critical for us.

If you can run SQLCMD you can back it up with the standard backup command. But it is an exe so you might not be able to.

If you can stop the SQL Server Service you could make a copy of the MDF and LDF files directly. Then move them to a new server.
