I am doing a program install and need to document all of the steps so I can instruct other to perform the same install, but I can't figure out how to take a screen shot.

thanks

download xv package for your OS or use /usr/dt/bin/sdtimage

Another way to record part of a login session (eg: for program installation) is to use the script command, see man pages for details. End the recording by typing exit.

I hope that helps.

Just take a screen shot of the telnet session in Windows (Ctrl + Print Screen).

Are you doing it from an X session or console?
