Hi

I have developed a small software in VB6, SQL Server 7.0
and Crystal Reports 7.
I had installed this software in all our stores.
The Invoice form contains Print button where if the user
clicks the print button it will print the receipt.
But recently it started showing up the parameter window
and asking to enter the parameter value when the user clicks on the print button. Earlier it used to print
automatically without asking any parameters .
Do I need to change any option in Crystal Reports to
fix the parameter value. In other stores its working fine
without asking any paramters.
Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming no changes were done to the application version at that store, perhaps someone changed the report (rpt file) located there.

Try to copy the original version of the report file over the one located at the store.

CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Hi

I had changed the version. I had installed the new version.
But this version has been installed in other stores also.
But I am not getting this problem in other stores.
Only in one store I am having this problem. and Report
path also not changed.

Are you sure that ALL you directory paths are EXACTLY the same??

Hi

Yes , All the directory paths are exactly the same.
I had reinstalled the software and Crystal Reports again.
Still I am getting the parameter window.

I may be way off base here but when my users use CR viewer after I make a change to a report the starting screen of CR Viewer has a checkmark in the "Modify Selection Formula" box. When there is a checkmark in the box the Viewer will ask the user for a parameter. This is why after I update a report I have to go right to the viewer and take that checkmark out of there. Sometimes I even get calls from users whohave experimented and put the checkmark in there and have no idea what is happening with it.

I don't know if this helps but figured I would throw it out there.
