How to subtract 30 minutes from a start time data field

I need to create a formula for boarding time by subtracting 30 minutes from our start time (departure time) field. I am having trouble creating a formula that can do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Dateadd("m",-30,{DateTimeField})

Dataadd() did not make its debut until CR V8. If you are using an earlier version you will need to download the dateadd() function from the crystal decisions website. Software Training and Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

Unless you want people arriving 30 months before the departure time, you might want to change the "m" to an "n".
