How to submit data into search engine at run time

I am developing a portal site where business can register themselves. <br><br>Once the registration is through, i want to submit the details of my client to select search engines. This should be done automatically. How do i acheive this. <br><br>Do i have to have a tie up with the search engine. <br><br>Ajesh Rajan<br><br><br><br>
