How to split single text file into multiple files?

Hi,

I have 50 text file links on a page, (one for each state). Currently, the user must right-click and 'Save Target As' fifty times in order to save each file to his or her computer.

Is there a way I could consolidate all info into one file, have the user download that, then somehow give the user the ability to (somewhat easily) split the file into fifty text files?

I would think I would need some kind of delimiter in the single file to indicate where to break for each state.

Or perhaps there is a better solution?

I found this, it would do what I need except I can't get the .exe to run!

I'm running XP, and it indicates that it should work with XP...

If I can't get this to work, are there any simular products out there?
