Hello,

I am using Outlook 2003 with 2 accounts on the server.
I would like to be able to choose from which account to send new mail but the problem is that I can't find where to add the "From..." field to a new message. How do I add this field to evevery new message?

Hi in Outlook 2000 it is:

View -> Current View -> Customize Current View -> Fields

Then you should be able to add the From Field over to the right hand side

This may be different on Outlook 2003 though

Actually, I think that will modify the fields that show up in the window that shows your mail. It won't have any affect on new messages or the fields available. At least, it didn't when I was trying. I am having the same problem as lordoftherings123.

Hey, LORD....try this:
Make sure (under Options) that the user isn't using Word as the editor. Even if they are, they should still be able to pull down the "options" box and get the From: field in there.
Make sense?

Here's how you do it.

It's different in 2003 to 2000 (a lot of Outlook is changed in 2003).

Anyway,

Go View --> Arrange By --> Current View --> Customize Current View.

You should be able to find your way from there.

Scrap that last idea...

Here's how you do it...

On your email is a button called Options. CLick the little arrow on the right of this button, and a drop down comes down with 'From' in it, which you can then select.

That's how to do it!!

apparently, there's a few ways to do it.
Both of these will work but, the issue can be avoided by not using Word as your editor.
