How to show the query in export file using BTEQ?

Hi ,

I would like my select query to be displayed alongwith the results in my BTEQ Export file. What is the BTEQ option for this?

There's no option for that ;-(
Just write the query to the file before the .EXPORT.
BTEQ doesn't overwrite an existing file, it appends to it.

How do I get BTEQ messages wirtten to a Windows files without using an .export file? Or is that required?
