How to setup Apache in Solaris 8?

I would like to download and instll Apache server on my solaris 8 machine. How can I go about doing this and also how do I configure Apache, so that it can handle my website, also how can I enable users only with my username and password, to be able to view my site?

Any suggestions would be greatly apprieciated! Thanks in advance.

2 ways. Either you compile yourself the source (require compiler)or use binary package from

http://www.sunfreeware.com.

To restrict specific user to enter your site, you can put authentication using .htaccess option. Refer to apache documentation -
