The question is exactly what the subject say!
I managed to connect the win98 machines, but I dont know how to setup the NT workstation clients.

HELP!

Make sure sp4 is on the workstation then go to network properties and choose protocols. Add the point to point tunneling protocol. Use the dialup networking to configure the connection. Isn't to bad.

What if your NT machine is already connected, via Ethernet, to a corporate network and the Internet?

There does not appear to be any way to tell Dial-Up Networking (on NT) to "skip the dialing part" and go ahead and tunnel to a specific off-site PPTP host.

Can anyone illuminate this approach?

Hi,

How did you set up the Win98 to NT, I am trying to do that at the moment but it is not working.

Cheers,
Paul

Duran,
Go to add remove programs, windows setup, communication, and install the MS VPN Adapter. Reboot. Then when you go into dial up networking and add a new connection, the connection type will allow you to drop down to MS VPN Adapter. From there you just need the IP address of where you want to connect. You will need to be allowed dial in access on the server.
