Greetings all ..

Is it possible to set Global page margins so that each time a word document is opened, it follows automatically the new margins ? The settings in the page setup are applied , even in default case, on new pages only and those that are based on the Normal template ..

Thanks in advance

Hi, amkaldas.

To change the layout on all new documents, just change the margins and hit the DEFAULT button in that dialog box.

Are you saying you also want to automatically change the margins on all documents that you open? Or would you like a macro you could run AFTER you open a document that will automatically set the margins for you?

I can do either, but I need the margins from you...

Thanks for your answer..

Yes, I need a way to automatically change the margins on all documents that I open, I don't know if I should use macros, or if there is a global settings for this..

I know about the default button, butI do need this adjusted for "previously saved docs" as well ..

Can you tell me the way so I can do this myself ? we can assume any margins as example ..

Thanks Again

I tried to play with macros , but it seems it is not the right direction .. I don't prefer to run macros after each start ..

I think the best solution is to find a setting that does this for ALL documents, old and new ..

Thanks to all
