On my 8710 G3R system, incoming calls to unprogrammed DID numbers and incoming toll free number calls with no corresponding VDN are somehow being routed to an announcement message that says basically "...you've reached an unassigned number at XYZ company. For help please call...." etc. This is the desired result, but I cannot find the mechanism that sets up the intercept treatment for these types incoming calls. Can someone tell me where this is programmed.

Follow-up question: What I'd like to be able to do is have incoming toll free number calls for which there is no VDN programmed, route to an intercept in such a way at to play back the DNIS code associated with the incoming call or to have such calls directed to a specific extension that would show the incoming DNIS on the display. Is this possible? (By the way, incoming toll free calls are Non-PRI.)

Thanks.

display sys features", on page 1: "DID/Tie/ISDN/SIP Intercept Treatment:" this can be "attd" for the attendant, or it can be an announcment extension #.
