how to set up Netbackup script for 9i on NT

Ive got a couple of Oracle 8i clients already being backed up by my Netbackup server. We just added our first 9i database and I can not get the database backed up. The only potential problem I can find is the lack of an initdb file on 9i. I pointed the netbackup script to the 9i sp file in place of the initdb file which it replaced and I wonder if that is the problem. I can not find any netbackup documentation that helps.
