We've been having no problem sending e-mail through Act! 2000 via a dial-up connection. We recently switched to a DSL account. I have Act! set up for "Internet Mail" and a "direct network connection." When I click "Advanced" then "Test Internet Connection," I get the message "Successfully connected with server incoming.verizon.net."
However, if I try to send an e-mail, Act! locks up without even asking me for a password to the outgoing server (outgoing.verizon.net).
