Hi,
in Windows XP SP2 I would like to set monitor to 1680x1050 - that is the monitor resolution my coworker has on the same monitor.

In Control Panel | Display | Settings tab | I can set 1400x1050 but left/right of the monitor is some black space. But if I set to 1600x1200 then I have a slider.

On my coworker computer there is 1680x1050 resolution, but there is no such resolution on my Windows box.

Regards

are you using the same video card and software drivers for that card?

Simon

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.

Under Display Properties/Settings/Advanced
Adapter tab, is there a List all modes button?

It may be there.

xwb, yes it is, but this resolution 1680x1050 is not listed.

Hi,
I don't know what happened. I haven't install any software. I just rebooted Windows and now resolution is automatically set to desired resolution. Strange...
Thanks for help.
Regards
