How to set and run Images with timeline

How can I make images showing one after another?

I have inserted a layer, put the first image on the layer, add timeline for that object. In the timeline window, then I do the same thing for the 2nd image right after the first image. But when I view the page, only first image shown on the screen. I don't think the timeline is playing. How can I make the timeline play?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
