How to send an EMAIL from HPUNIX 11 to windows outlook.

Hi All,

How can I configure mail's on the HPUNIX 11.00 so that in case if any logs are being generated in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log then they should be sent to my EMAIL .ID.

I would run a cron script on the HPUX machine that looks at syslog.log, emails it to yourself and then empties it.

You could also try "swatch", simple log watcher. U can rig it to send u an email under certain conditions that develop in any log file.

madrian - Is "swatch" native to HP-UX? If not where could I find it?
