u can if u have the permissions on your station to use the feature access code to access a particular trunk member. If u tell use what u are trying to do we might be able to help u better. As long as it is not a pri co trunk. If it is then u can try using a "verify button". but I have never had much luck with the verify button.
Actually, I've 4 CO lines in the same trunk group, and one of the line are provided by different Telco which is more reliable. We could like to be able to select that line when needed. thx.... ^^
trying using the "facililty test calls" feature access code.
"List feature" to find out what it is. check your COR to see if u have permisssions for test calls.
I aggree with orypecos Use the verify button. I use it all the time. Translate the button on the set. Then follow the steps below:
1 press verify
2 you receive dialtone on a open appearence and verify button stays lit.
3 dial the TAC Trunk access code followed by the trunk member number IE 156003 156 TAC member 003.
4 you receive dialtone on the selected trunk
5 dial telephone number NOTE you will not need the 9 or whatever your ARS codes is.
A few Notes. If you follow the above steps andf the trunk is active you will barge in. If the call is data or Fax call is terminated. You need to set the dial access on the trunk form to Y.
