Posts here have mentioned watching the boot sequence (of a Call Pilot) using a terminal emulator, such as HyperTerminal or ProComm.

Thread here was from tarm, dated 8-7-07.

Any details? RAD required?

Thanks,
mwm

Connect your a laptop on site to the serial connection on the call pilot using a null-modem serial cable. Hyperterminal settings are:
9600
8
1
none
com:1 (most likely)

I don't belive this can be done remotely unless you have an external modem connected to that serial port on the call pilot.
Take care,

Thanks, mikescience; very helpful.

Is it possible to telnet into the CP?

I would not be surprised if telnet was available.

I wonder what would show up if one connected a laptop and ran a port scanner such as nmap on the connection?

Yours,
mwm
