I have a search form with 4 unbound text boxes
company
loacation
sic
naics

I have a query that when the search button is clicked it looks for the fields on the form then it needs to bring up another form called company is not a subform. I tried every thing out there and it is very slow it takes over 5 minutes. Please help

How are ya waymond . . . .

Sounds like your using one or more of the [blue]Domain Aggregate Functions[/blue], the turtles of access. If you are, drop them and use a [blue]Recordset with FindFirst or RecordCount instead[/blue] . . . much faster search for large recordsets!
