How to restrict CMC options

Hi,

W2K MMC has options to restrict the interface. Does anyone know if you can restrict access to CMC?

Issue:
Supportdesk needs to be able to perform user related tasks (i.e. Connect, Disconnect, Shadow, Send Message, etc).

All other options should not be available.

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Yes providing you use FR2 or greater.

You setup the administrators and then allow them to do or not to do stuff. Much better granularity in FR3 tho, would suggest starting there. You will need to give out the new CMC that comes with the various FRs tho.
 
There is a tab like Citrix Administrattors in the CMC. There you can give special permissions for users and groups, for the tasks in the cmc. So you can restrict the permissions for some groups, so that they are able to perform the tasks you wish, and the other options are only allowed to view.
