How to replace a 9620?

Newbie to S8300 admin and we need to replace a broken 9620 w/ a new one. Can someone provide the steps to accomplish this? Thank you.

unplug the old. Plug in the new.

There's nothing to program so that the extension from the old phone transfers to the new? Thanks.

The phone will boot up, and then ask for an extension. Enter the extension, and then it will ask for a password. Enter that, and it will login. It may say 'extension in-use, press# to continue'... if it does, press Continue.
