Hi! I would like to know if i can remove the name appearing when launching any MS Office application. Thanks.

Are you talking about the name that shows who the software is registered to when it launches?? If so, you could re-install the program, and change who the product is licenced to.

If you go to Word, Tools, Options and select user information you can change all Office setups from there.

Yes, the name im talking about is the registered name appearing when launching ms office. I already went to Tools, Options, User info, and change it to other name but the name appearing is still the same. I also went to regedit and change all of the name as the one appearing to a different name but it didnt change.

Do you know a way how to delete or change it without reinstalling the software?

Thanks for the help. :)

Sorry, it does work on my machine but I have Office XP. That might be the difference.

Nope. All versions of Office do this. If it's not working, I suspect the user doesn't have *rights* to change it. After changing the User Info, does it remain changed under User Info after closing programs and/or rebooting? Dreamboat@TheWordExpert.com
